It all began with the realization that she could fill in her eyebrows…
In all seriousness, Brooke has always loved doing makeup. She first started applying makeup on her friends in middle and high school, to her wanting to make a career out of it.
Brooke attended National Academy of Beauty Arts in 2013 and graduated 6 months later. Esthetics school built Brooke in a wonderful way. From learning how to communicate and work with clients, to blossoming into the artist she is today.
Brooke learned more about skincare than how to apply makeup in school. This forced her to practice on classmates, friends and family to build her portfolio.
Starting Her Career
After graduation, Brooke applied to several different salons and was hired! It wasn’t long before she realized becoming her own boss and starting her own business was what was best for her.
Brooke would post weekly asking for models to apply makeup and create makeup videos. At this time, it seemed like things were really moving! Her portfolio was getting larger and more and more people were seeing her content. Brooke was asked to do Bridal makeup for friends and family and has since been asked to do Bridal Makeup by referrals and advertising her work on Social Media.
Where Is Brooke Today?
With 10 years under her belt as a professional makeup artist, Brooke has worked with hundreds of brides! She has been a finalist for St. Louis’ A-List Bridal Makeup Artist multiple years in a row and has been featured in several magazines. Just last year Brooke was interviewed and featured in STL Today. She received the Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice Awards in 2023 and The Knot Best of Weddings in 2024!
Brooke continues to post client photos and videos to her business Instagram & Facebook. She enjoys hosting giveaways, meeting new clients, working with fellow creatives in the industry, and seeing the support she receives from clients, friends/family and followers.
The ultimate goal for Brooke is to never stop learning! Brooke has started offering Bridal Hair Styling as one of her services. At first it was a challenge, however dry hair styling has become one of her greatest passions.
